The Mosschem Detailing Masterclass is our most comprehensive training course, designed for anyone who wants to develop a proper understanding of professional vehicle detailing from start to finish.

Over five full days, you'll work practically on real vehicles alongside the Mosschem team, covering everything from safe washing and vehicle preparation through to machine polishing, paint correction, interior detailing, protection and ceramic coatings.

This isn't five days spent sitting in a classroom.

The majority of the course is hands-on, giving you the time to actually use the products, machines and techniques being discussed. We'll explain why we do things a certain way, demonstrate the process, then give you the opportunity to put it into practice yourself with guidance throughout.

The course can suit someone looking to start a detailing business, an existing detailer wanting to improve their skills, or an employee being trained to carry out professional detailing as part of their role.

Built Around Practical Experience

We don't want you to simply watch someone else detail a car.

You'll be encouraged to get involved throughout the course, using professional detailing equipment and Mosschem products on real vehicles.

That means actually using the pressure washer, chemicals, brushes, polishers, pads, compounds and coatings rather than simply being shown them.

You'll learn how different products and processes work together and, importantly, how to decide what a vehicle actually needs rather than following the same process every time.

Mistakes, questions and experimentation are all part of learning. The idea is that by the end of the week you're much more comfortable approaching a vehicle and deciding how to tackle it properly.

More Than Just Machine Polishing

Machine polishing is an important part of professional detailing, but it is only one part of the job.

A good detailer needs to understand the complete process.

We'll look at how to assess the condition of a vehicle, choose suitable chemicals and equipment, work safely and efficiently, correct paintwork appropriately and select protection based on the vehicle and the desired result.

You'll also learn when not to chase a defect or use an aggressive polishing combination — something that's just as important as knowing how to remove one.

The aim is to develop your judgement as well as your practical ability.

Products & Equipment

All products and equipment required during the course are provided by Mosschem.

You'll have the opportunity to work with professional detailing products, machine polishers, pads, compounds, inspection equipment and protection systems throughout the week.

We'll explain what we're using as we go, why we've selected it and what alternatives could be used in different situations.

You do not need to bring your own detailing equipment to attend the course.
