Autobrite UK began over 20 years ago in a small garage in Stoke-on-Trent, founded by husband-and-wife team Mark and Jill Moss. What started as a local passion for car care quickly grew into a globally recognised detailing brand, known for exceptional quality, innovation, and genuine customer care.
From day one, Autobrite was built on a simple philosophy:
create products we would proudly use ourselves, treat customers like family, and never compromise on quality.
Through hands-on leadership, high standards, and a relentless focus on performance, Mark and Jill shaped Autobrite UK into a trusted name in car care. Today, Autobrite products are used by enthusiasts, professional detailers, studios, and distributors across the UK, Europe, the USA, Asia, and beyond.
Despite its global reach, Autobrite UK has always stayed true to its roots. Products continue to be developed, blended, and refined in the UK, driven by the same passion that started it all in Stoke-on-Trent.
The story really began around 1999, when Mark started a mobile valeting business called Prestige Valeting Mobile Services. It quickly became a busy operation, cleaning cars, vans, and trucks across the local area and building a strong reputation for quality and hard work.
Everything was going well until an injury changed the direction of the business. After pulling his back during a job, Mark was forced out of action for a couple of months. Rather than stepping away from the industry altogether, this pause became a turning point.
During recovery, the focus shifted from using products to understanding them. We began searching for car care products that truly delivered the results we wanted in real-world conditions, and quickly realised there was a gap in the market.
Instead of just using existing products, the idea was born to create and sell our own.
That’s when Autobrite came to life.
Built on hands-on experience and a clear goal to offer the best car care products possible, Autobrite was created by detailers, for detailers. Products we genuinely believed in, trusted, and were proud to put our name to.
That same drive for quality, performance, and real-world results still sits at the heart of Autobrite today.
Mosschem represents the next evolution of our journey.
Created to support growing demand, modern production, and large-scale trade supply, Mosschem is our dedicated manufacturing company, proudly based on Chemical Lane, Stoke-on-Trent. Built with efficiency, scalability, and performance in mind, Mosschem produces high-performance cleaning chemicals for automotive, industrial, commercial, and outdoor applications.
All Mosschem products are blended, filled, quality tested, and shipped from our facility, giving us complete control over every stage of the manufacturing process. This ensures:
