Restore faded, worn, and weathered automotive surfaces with Mosschem Black Dye – a professional-grade, fast-drying, solvent-based coating developed to rejuvenate a wide range of interior and exterior components. Its high-opacity formula delivers excellent coverage, producing a deep, rich black finish that restores tired surfaces to a clean, factory-fresh appearance.
Designed for professional valeters, detailers, body shops, dealerships, and vehicle refurbishment specialists, Black Dye penetrates porous substrates to provide outstanding colour uniformity and a durable, hard-wearing, low-transfer finish once fully cured.
Suitable for use on automotive carpets, fabric mats, upholstery, tyre sidewalls, rubber mats, fibreboard, parcel shelves, unpainted plastic trim, textured bumpers, and other compatible porous surfaces, it is the ideal solution for reviving components affected by wear, fading, abrasion, and UV exposure.
For the best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease, wax, silicone, and loose contamination before application. Build colour gradually with light, even coats to achieve a uniform finish. Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application.

How To
Whether you're restoring worn vehicle interiors or refreshing exterior trim and rubber components, Mosschem Black Dye provides a professional, long-lasting finish that enhances appearance and extends the life of faded automotive surfaces.
For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dust-free, dry, and free from grease, wax, silicone, and any loose contamination. If the surface has previously been treated with a fabric protector or dressing, thoroughly clean it beforehand, as this may prevent the dye from penetrating properly.
Mask or protect any surrounding areas that are not to be treated, as Black Dye will permanently stain most porous surfaces.
Shake the container thoroughly before use. Apply a light, even coat using a spray trigger, sponge, brush, or suitable applicator. Avoid heavy application, as several light coats will produce a more uniform, professional finish.
Allow each coat to dry before applying additional coats. Heavily faded or light-coloured materials may require multiple applications to achieve the desired depth of colour. Once the final coat has been applied, allow the treated surface to dry completely before handling or returning the vehicle to service.
Best Results
- Apply in a well-ventilated area.
- Use multiple light coats rather than one heavy coat.
- Allow adequate drying time between coats.
- Results are best on porous materials such as wool carpets, fabric, rubber, and fibreboard.
- Synthetic materials with a high nylon content or smooth plastics may not absorb the dye as effectively.
- Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application to confirm compatibility and the desired finish.
